To whom it may concern,
As an elected official who cares deeply that we go up to bat for our frontline workers, I support Minneapolis Parks staff who are advocating for fairer wages, a fair contract, and a good faith bargaining process that maintains their ability to organize effectively now, and into the future.
I stand with Minneapolis park workers and LiUNA.
I know that MPRB staff on strike care deeply about our parks, park users, and the overall health of the system. That is why they are fighting for a fair contract, one that invests in staff trust, longevity, and wage security to maintain access to this world class resource for all residents.
I hope to see MPRB leadership join LiUNA and union members back at the negotiating table to ensure a quick resolution, one that elevates and recognizes union concerns.
