Hennepin County District 5 encompasses the cities of Bloomington, Richfield, most of Eden Prairie, and a small portion of SW Minneapolis. It’s home to beautiful parks such as Woodlake Nature Center, Hyland Lake Park, Anderson Lakes Park, the stunning Prairie Bluff Conservation Area, and the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. Libraries in our district (Augsburg Park, Oxboro, Penn Lake, and Eden Prairie) host over 530,000 in-person visits every year.
Our three suburban communities are home to about 186,000 people as well as businesses both big and small. The Mall of America, Toro, Best Buy, Quality Bike Products, and hundreds of other businesses are located right in District 5.
